TEMPE, Ariz. — A familiar face and frame will be on the Tempe Diablo Stadium mound today when burly right-hander Bartolo Colon starts for the Chicago White Sox against the Angels. Colon won the 2005 Cy Young Award while pitching for the Angels, but his next two seasons in Anaheim were marred by injury.

Jered Weaver will start for the Angels, who have all of their regulars except Juan Rivera in the lineup. Gary Matthews Jr. is back in camp and in the lineup after taking Sunday off to contemplate his immediate future with the Angels, that of a fifth outfielder.

Mike Napoli, who caught seven innings in a minor league game Sunday, is slated to catch five or so innings today, his first back-to-back days behind the plate this spring.

Joe Saunders, who is expected to start opening day for the Angels, is scheduled to throw seven innings and extend his pitch count to about 100 in a minor league game today.

The Angels lineup:

3B Chone Figgins
2B Howie Kendrick
LF Bobby Abreu
DH Vladimir Guerrero
CF Torii Hunter
1B Kendry Morales
RF Gary Matthews Jr.
C Mike Napoli
SS Erick Aybar
