Angels slugger Vladimir Guerrero hit his 400th career home run tonight against the Tampa Bay Rays, his second homer of the game.
Guerrero’s historic blast into the right-field corner came in the seventh inning against Rays reliever Russ Springer and gave the Angels an 8-7 lead. After rounding the bases and going into the Angels dugout, Guerrero stepped back on the field for a curtain call and tipped his cap in front of 37,388.
Guerrero, who recently came off the disabled list, hit his first homer of the game in the second inning against Tampa Bay starter Matt Garza.
