UCLA recruiting efforts continue to reach out beyond the California border, as two top recruits were at the Bruins game Saturday.

Derrick Bryant, a defensive end from Columbus (Ohio) Brookhaven, and Jay Guy, a defensive tackle from Aldine (Texas) Eisenhower, were spotted at the game. Both were expected to take a campus tour today. Neither rank as elite recruits, though both are solid at their positions.

Bryant, who is 6 feet 4, 230 pounds, ranks 29th at his position and is considered the 26th-best recruit in Ohio, according to Oregon, North Carolina and Kentucky are among the other schools recruiting Bryant.

Guy, who is 6 feet 1, 300 pounds, has orally committed to California. He ranks 64th at his position by Rivals.
