Formula Drift driver Justin Pawlak top qualifier at Irwindale

Justin Pawlak, a driver from Long Beach, was the top qualifier for the Formula Drift event on Friday night at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale.

Pawlak, 10th in the Formula Drift pro standings, leads a field of 32 drivers competing in today’s season finale Formula Drift event.

Chris Forsberg, the leader in the Formula Drift standings, qualified seventh.

Kyle Mohan, a driver from Long Beach and a graduate of Lakewood High, qualified fifth.
