Tiger Woods and Barack Obama share some cover time

In the wake of an ongoing scandal that’s more brutal than a triple bogey at Augusta National, Tiger Woods is sharing some cover time with President Obama on the January 2010 edition of Golf Digest.

The magazine, which was delivered to subscribers this week, features a snazzy photo illustration of Woods acting as Obama’s caddy for its featured story, ’10 Tips Obama Can Take From Tiger.’

Unfortunately, it’s a case of bad timing for the folks over at Golf Digest. A spokesman from the magazine said the magazine went to print in mid-November, two weeks before Tiger drove into a tree and woke up chin-deep in a scandal for allegedly cheating on his wife.

As for the article itself, I hope Tiger’s tips for Obama are strictly golf-related.
