Bryan Herta Autosport, owned in part by Valencia’s Bryan Herta, is planning to enter driver Sebastian Saavedra in this year’s Indianapolis 500.

Saavedra will drive for Herta’s Firestone Indy Lights team in 2010. Bryan Herta Autosport will field two cars in the Indy Lights series. The second car will be driven by Stefan Wilson, the younger brother of IndyCar Series driver Justin Wilson.

Saavedra will be the third Colombian driver to enter the Indianapolis 500, joining Juan Pablo Montoya, who races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, and Roberto Guerrero. Montoya won the Indy 500 in 2000. Guerrero has two runner-up finishes.
