UCLA’s baseball team improves to 16-0

Getting good pitching, defense and hitting, UCLA’s baseball team improved to 16-0 on Sunday by completing a three-game sweep of Oral Roberts with a 9-1 victory.

Justin Uribe went three for four with three runs batted in. Rob Rasmussen (2-0) struck out eight and walked one in 5 2/3 innings. Blair Dunlap hit a home run, extending his hitting streak to 11 games.

UCLA outscored Oral Roberts, 41-7, over the three-game series at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Bruins pitchers struck out 30 and walked 10.
