UCLA will play Washington in Seattle on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m. to accommodate ESPN. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13.

The move is beneficial to the Bruins, who have two Thursday night games this fall. They have bye weeks before the Washington game as well as a game at Oregon on Oct. 21, giving UCLA extra time to prepare for what are expected to be key road games.

“We are excited about the opportunity to play another nationally televised game,” Coach Rick Neuheisel said about the Washington game in a statement released by the athletic department. “The additional national exposure will benefit our program. The UCLA-Washington games are always rock’em-sock’em affairs and the Thursday night atmosphere will just add to the excitement.”

Neuheisel should be excited. He is 2-0 against his former team since being hired at UCLA. He is 3-0 overall, having beaten the Huskies once while coaching at Colorado.
