Fans of the old Champ Car series might remember Andrew Ranger. He was a rising star in the now defunct open-wheel racing series a few years ago.

He is also a two-time NASCAR Canadian Tire Series champ and the winner of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma on Saturday.

NASCAR fans will be seeing more of Ranger. He is entered in the Nationwide Series race at Circuit Gilles Villenueve in Montreal on Aug. 30. Ranger will be driving the No. 11 Toyota for CJM Racing in the Nationwide Series.
