When the Baltimore Ravens play host to the Cleveland Browns in their home opener Sunday, they also will be hosting a special guest from Panorama City.

Roger Arreotua, 17, who is battling Ewing’s sarcoma -- a rare disease in which cancer cells are found in the bones or soft tissue -- will be in the stands with his father and two brothers. The trip, Roger’s first on an airplane, was made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles.

Roger became a Ravens fan in 2002 after watching a feature story on Jamal Lewis, then the team’s star running back.

‘As Coach [John] Harbaugh likes to say when we bring up something like this, ‘How could we say no to something like that?’’ said Kevin Byrne, Ravens senior vice president. ‘We feel privileged to be asked.’
