Jose Ventura, 22, a Latino man, was shot through the neck on the sidewalk near a McDonalds on Romaine Avenue west of Western Avenue in Hollywood just before 9 p.m. Monday, July 16. His time of death is listed as 9:09 p.m. Ventura’s attackers came up to him, shot him, then fled on foot. Hollywood detectives seek help on the case. Anyone who saw anything is asked to call (213) 972-2910.
