Antonio Wooten, 20, a black young man, was shot multiple times at 1800 E. 54th Street in LAPD’s Newton Division, and died at 12:57 p.m. Saturday, July 28.

This drive-by shooting near Holmes Avenue in LAPD’s Newton Division happened at about 4:35 a.m. Saturday, July 28. Wooten died about 12 hours later at California Hospital.

* Update: Newton detectives have cleared this case. A black suspect is in custody.
