Craig Moore, 18, a young black man, was shot through the head at 1600 W. Piru St. in Compton, and died at 3:39 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. He was walking westbound when drive-by shooters cruised past in a rust-colored car. He was rushed to Gardena Memorial hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
