Sure, President Obama got Alec Baldwin laughing at a joke he told about Arizona’s immigration law at the White House Correspondents’ Assn. Dinner, but Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer doesn’t think it’s funny.

It’s so unfunny to her that Brewer’s campaign committee released a video Friday directed at the president telling him to ‘Do your job and secure the border.’

The debate over the issue continues to rage, although a new poll released Friday showed that even Democrats, by a 2 to 1 margin, don’t want the law repealed.

The one-minute video, titled ‘President Obama, no one in Arizona is laughing,’ calls the president to task for mocking the law at the dinner (video embedded below).

The text of the spot reads:

In December 2008, the U.S. Justice Department said that Mexican gangs are the ‘biggest organized crime threat to the United States.’In 2009, Phoenix had 316 kidnapping cases, turning the city into our nation’s kidnapping capital. Almost all of the persons kidnapped were illegal immigrants or linked to the drug trade.Until January of 2009, any smugglers carrying under 500 pounds of narcotics were often not prosecuted.Narcotic prosecutions in Arizona have risen 202% in [the last] 16 months. 1,080 prosecutions will STILL be refused this year in the Tucson Sector alone. What does President Obama have to say about Arizona doing the job Washington won’t?[President Obama speaking at White House Correspondents’ Assn. Dinner: And we all know what happens in Arizona when you don’t have ID. Adios, amigos.President Obama, Broken Borders are not a laughing matter. No one in Arizona is laughing. Do your job and secure the border.
