Too much Hart

Look, I think it’s great so many parents and students are involved with their school’s football program, but Hart’s gotta hold the record for most people watching on the sidelines.

It’s been like this for years and I think it’s not fair to the fans who sit in the stands at College of the Canyons. It also makes it tougher for journalists and photographers to cover the game. It seems like there is a constant battle for the best viewing turf.

Between the legion of ballboys and the numerous hatted men watching with crossed arms and looks of concentration, I’ve always found it difficult to watch a Hart game from the sidelines. And I’m sure the CIF would have a cow if they saw how many people were on the field.

Anyway, I’m planning to watch the second half of tonight’s game from the Moorpark sidelines.

Game update: Delano Howell scored his second TD of the game on a three-yard run late in the second quarter to help Hart take a 14-0 halftime lead.
