No more streaks

It’s great to see a couple of long losing streaks bite the dust on Friday. First, Santa Paula snapped its 14-game winless streak with a 14-0 victory over Channel Islands.

And Golden Valley didn’t let last week’s letdown in the winless bowl against Littlerock keep it down. The Grizzlies, who’ve been living in infamy as the team that suffered a 90-0 loss to Canyon last year, dissolved an 11-game losing streak in dominant fashion with a 42-7 victory over Hoover.
