Look, let me first start off by saying I think Maxpreps.com is a great concept and valuable resource for fans, athletes and members of the media. When this site launched a few years ago, I thought it was great and I visit it on a daily basis.

So, Maxpreps, if you’re out there listening, one of your biggest fans would like to offer some constructive criticisms:

First off, the site is slower than Eeyore stuck in molasses and I have to keep seeing some weird promotion for a guy named “Claude the Bod.’ In addition, Nike ads are popping up all over the place and there’s streaming videos everywhere screaming for my attention.

I understand some of the ads featured on the site are tailored toward young athletes and students (but seriously, how many clicks can our friend, “the bod” be getting?) and the revenue these ads generate keep the servers on. However, something needs to be done. All the videos and graphics on each page is slowing the site down to near snail-like proportions. I’m pretty sure it would operate much smoother if all those mini media players wouldn’t pop up on each page and there were less ‘flashy’ advertising. If you guys ripped those off the page, everything would probably run like clockwork.

Once again, GREAT JOB MAXPREPS! Just make your site more like Darrell Scott and less like William Perry.
