Panthers’ defense getting it done

I keep thinking QB Colby Cameron and the Newbury Park offense are going to be responsible for carrying the Panthers to a Marmonte League title. However, based on their performances the last two weeks, something definitely has to be said about the defense.

Here’s the story on how the Panthers put on another ‘defensive clinic’ in an important game against Rio Mesa on Friday. If they can put up this kind of stance in their showdown at Oak Park next week, the Panthers might come out ahead of what promises to be a low-scoring contest.
