I don’t expect this to be a regular thing on the blog, but all day I’ve been reading polls. National polls. Regional polls. Local polls. Exit polls. So I figured I would try to come up wit my own poll for the SGV.

Here it is, My SGV top 10. Since no SGV teams made it to the Times’ top 25 again, this is the closest the SGV will get to being ranked by The Times this week. Let me know what you think and give me your top 10 while your at it -- the coverage area, as explained to me, extends from Damien to Diamond Ranch.

1- Los Altos (2-0)…Bryce Mahmud-McBride 1- Glendora (2-0)…How good are they? We’ll find out Friday. 3- Charter Oak (1-1)…Will the real CO please stand up? 3- Damien (2-1)…Only blemish was against St. John Bosco (2-1). 5- Bishop Amat (0-3)…tough, tough, tough, schedule. 6- Diamond Ranch (2-1)…Sloppy 6-0 victory keeps them out of Top 5. 7- Alhambra (2-0)…Impressive RB duo of Brown and Smith. 8- Schurr (1-1)…beat La Habra in playoffs last year… 9- South Hills (0-2)…lost to La Habra badly last week. 10- Maranatha (1-1)…Lop-sided loss to St. Margaret’s, which is no longer a D-13 team.

There it is. Have at it, guys.
