That “other” RB over at St. Bonny is pretty talented, too

There was an interesting story in the Daily News detailing the transitional issues (or lack thereof) that RB Darrell Scott encountered in his move from Moorpark to St. Bonaventure.

Patrick Hall, the other RB at St. Bonaventure, is one of the players Ramona Shelburne writes about in her story dealing with Scott’s Seraph conversion.

I also had the chance to meet and speak with Hall after St. Bonny’s victory over Oaks Christian and I have to say he’s one of the nicest and selfless players around. He made some big defensive plays in that game, and every time I asked him what he thought about his big game, he just keep twisting the conversation back to how well Scott played.

As humble as he is, Hall is another reason the Seraphs are one of the best teams around. His incredible speed makes him an asset on both offense and defense (he plays safety) even though he seems comfortable living in Scott’s shadow. And I know his senior season next year is going to be awesome.

Of course, I don’t think he’s alone -- I think everybody on St. Bonny is getting used to the media and recruiting circus surrounding Scott. After all, he isn’t the first Seraph to encounter it.
