Don’t trip over the light fantastic

I arrived early for the Narbonne-Carson game tonight at Daniels Field in San Pedro. Parking was supposed to be a joke since this game and San Pedro’s homecoming game were within two blocks of each other.

Carson Coach Michael Christensen also got his team to the site early, even though Carson High is roughly 12 minutes away. ‘I’m a bit of an organization freak,’ he said. ‘I don’t like to be rushed.’

Both games were scheduled to start at 7 p.m., but Christensen’s concern San Pedro reaching halftime before the Carson-Narbonne game did. ‘They usually have fireworks at their homecoming,’ he said. ‘That could make it hard to audible.’
