OK, Dons, where do you go from here?

Friday’s 46-28 loss to Crenshaw in Coliseum League action was bad for several reasons. Had Dorsey (4-3, 1-1) won and gone through the rest of its league schedule unbeaten, it would have finished 8-2 and been able to argue strongly for at least a No. 3 seeded position in the City playoffs. That hope is gone, unless Crenshaw (3-4, 2-0) somehow loses twice in its final three league games.

Then there was how Dorsey played Friday. The Dons had six turnovers -- five fumbles and an interception. They trailed, 28-0, at halftime. Even though they outscored Crenshaw, 28-18, in the second half they, they never got closer than a 13-point deficit.

‘I knew if we started off slow we would be in trouble. And that’s exactly what happened,’ Dorsey Coach Paul Knox, pictured left, said. ‘We didn’t let down in the second half. Hopefully we can take that to the next game and start our games like the way we ended here.’
