Maybe the South East-South Gate rivalry -- the angry one -- was born tonight.

There are no clouds in the sky, but it’s been raining yellow hankies all over the Veterans Stadium field.
South East has 12 penalties for 117 yards. South Gate has four penalties for 45 yards. Twice the officials have called both teams over with instructions to cool it.

‘It’s not even the chirping,’ one official said. ‘It’s all the shoving after the play. We can’t get to the ball. We have to keep breaking up the piles.’
