Los Angeles, Contreras switch game time

The starting time for the Los Angeles-Contreras Southern League football game Friday has been moved from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. to accommodate L.A.’s homecoming program.

Athletic Director David Craft said Los Angeles has rented lights for the game, at a cost of $8,000.

‘It was touch-and-go for a moment,’ Craft said. ‘At first there were the fires, and then Contreras wanted to move the game to Saturday. But they said we could make the call.’
