Upland still planning to host Los Osos

At least one pretty good Inland Empire game is moving forward as planned. Los Osos is scheduled to travel to Upland for a Baseline League game Friday night. Jim Drake, boys’ athletic director at Upland, said they are still taking things one day at a time, however.

Corona Centennial, ranked second in the Southland by The Times, doesn’t have to worry about making any decisions this week. I called Dennis Pratt, the boys’ athletic director at Centennial, and he reminded me that the Huskies had a bye this week. Oops.

‘We planned that right,’ he said.
