SF Valley/North girls’ golf: Football OK, golf no way

The William S. Hart Unified School District allowed football teams to have full, outdoor practices on Thursday, but oddly canceled the girls’ Foothill League individual finals at the Valencia Country Club because of air quality concerns.

According to The Signal, Hart’s Amanda Corr was named league MVP based on previous league matches and joining her at the Northern Regional will be Jasnin Samson (Valencia), Breena Carlson (Hart), Jenny Kim (Valencia) and Sarah Kang (West Ranch).
