Southwestern League on hold again

Shucks. I was washing ash off the company car and getting ready to head out to Chaparral to watch the Pumas take on Vista Murrieta when I received word that all Southwestern League games have been postponed another day becaue of poor air quality.

You have to remember, those schools are closest to San Diego County, where wildfires wreaked the most havoc.

Luckily, there’s another good matchup -- in the Sierra League between Ayala and Chino Hills -- that I will try to catch.
