Even though I’ve been nearly steamrolled a couple times by some Hart players pumped up over big plays, I’ve managed to make it away from the hub-bub on the sidelines and report from my safe position behind the Saugus end zone. The Indians lead, 21-14, heading into the fourth quarter.

It’s been all Hart since halftime, and an amazing, 62-yard TD by Delano Howell ( pictured, left, just after the run) has pushed the Indians ahead. To add injury to insult, talented Saugus linebacker Justin McKillop was hurt, but he managed to make it back into the game in the fourth quarter.

Hart also benefited from an interception by Adam Bouyer, right, on the Saugus 28-yard line. Unfortunately for the Indians, however, they weren’t able to convert despite the good field position.

But this one can still go either way. Saugus’ defense has looked good despite Howell’s phenomenal TD run, and you can never count out Desi Rodriguez or Ryan Zirbel. Remember last week’s game against Canyon, when the Centurions scored 18 unanswered points in the final 14 minutes to win?
