According to Hart Coach Mike Herrington, there is a ‘possibility’ UCLA-bound linebacker Patrick Larimore could play in the second-seeded Indians’ Northern Division semifinal with Newbury Park.

‘He’s day-to-day at the moment,’ Herrington said. ‘He could play again this season.’

Larimore had surgery Nov. 12 to repair a torn thumb ligament on his left hand. He’s missed three games because of the injury, which he suffered against Valencia on Oct. 26. However, he still has a team-high 99 tackles -- 37 better than the next Hart player.

I think there’s a decent chance we could see ol’ No. 42 back on the field Friday night looking to halt the Chris Brown and Colby Cameron show. And his on-field presence would definitely give the Indians an emotional lift against those Viking slayers.

I just hope I didn’t get duped on Larimore’s injury status like last time.
