Prediction No. 1: Long Beach Poly will rout Orange Lutheran in the Pac-5 semifinals.

Why: Redemption, vengeance, vindication -- call it what you will. This is the game -- the glorious chance -- the Jackrabbits have been craving all season long. In the semifinals last year, Poly vaulted out of a 23-point hole in the fourth quarter, only to lose 23-22 after bungling a game-tying extra point.

Prediction No. 2: Dominguez will torch the scoreboard for 40 against a typically stout Palmdale defense, which has shut out three opponents this season

Why: The Dons, who have scored at least 40 points in seven games this season, are due for an offensive outburst after tallying just 26 last week.
