Orange Lutheran failed to get on the board during its first drive of the third quarter. The drive took up more than half the quarter but failed when James Rammelsberg’s 46-yard field goal attempt was wide left into a left-to-right crosswind.

The Lancers were pretty daring on their drive, though.

They went for it on fourth-and-one at their own 39. That’s a huge play if the Lancers don’t make it -- a huge play for Poly, that is. But Tyson Seneca gets done what he can’t at the end of the first half.

Blake Ayles finally gets into the game statistically. He catches an 18-yard pass from Bobby Wheatley on third and eight.

The Lancers have nothing to show for their night, thus far, but they’re still in the game.
