I like the move. I like that Orange Lutheran went for the touchdown on fourth down and just inches from scoring against Long Beach Poly’s defense. Heck, if you can’t score from the one in four downs, maybe you don’t deserve to win.

If Bobby Wheatley didn’t get the ball over the plane of the goal line on second down, it sure looked like Tyson Seneca did on Lutheran’s third-down play. But he didn’t on fourth down, as Kenny Tuiloma wrapped up Seneca.

Great defensive stand by the Jackrabbits.

If Lutheran is to win this game, one of the key matchups is Lutheran’s offensive line against Poly’s defensive line.

‘it’s the best defensive line we’ve faced,’ Lancers Coach Jim Kunau said. ‘That quickness ... Jurrell Casey is unbelievable.’

Lutheran made inroads in that battle on that drive, but to get that close and fail to score -- ouch!
