Girls’ golf: Regional pair heading to Northridge

Valencia’s Jasnin Samson and Quartz Hill resident Kendall Patten have signed with Cal State Northridge.

Samson finished as a runner-up to Hart’s Amanda Corr for Foothill League MVP honors this past season and was honored as an All-Foothill League selection in 2006. Get debriefed on Samson’s collegiate plans here.

Patten, who’s been home-schooled throughout her high school years, won the L.A. County Junior Golf Championships in 2006 and finished second at the SCPGA Yorba Linda Invitational in July.
