While many UCLA recruits are mulling over their options in the wake of Rick Neuheisel‘s Westwood comeback, Hart standout LB Patrick Larimore is still firmly commited to the Bruins.

‘I know a lot of other guys are looking at other programs, but I’m staying with my choice,’ said Larimore (42), pictured next to teammate Delano Howell. ‘I think Neuheisel is a great hire and I’m excited about the chance to be a part of the team.’

Larimore said he has talked to UCLA linebackers coach Chuck Bullough since Neuheisel’s hiring and received reassurances about the Bruins’ continuing interest in him. Larimore said he plans to visit UCLA and meet with Neuheisel sometime in the next couple weeks.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Times’ All-Star selection had 117 tackles and three sacks as the Indians advanced to the Southern Section division finals for the third time in five years.
