Monarchs pulling away from Eagles

After holding a three-point halftime lead, Mater Dei has started to pull away in its Trinity League game against visiting Santa Margarita.

Getting balanced scoring and showing lots of unselfishness in the third quarter, the Monarchs have surged to a 49-38 lead with 3:17 left in the quarter. David Wear continues to impress. He has 20 points and isn’t missing when he shoots.
