Thanks to another typically amazing performance by senior guard Lorne Jackson, Simi Valley set another Marmonte League first on Friday.

Jackson finished with 19 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, six steals and three blocks, despite sitting out the fourth quarter, to power the Marmonte League champion Pioneers to a 78-45 victory over last-place Royal. In the process, Simi Valley became the first Marmonte League team to post a 14-win campaign. It also marked the first undefeated run in the Marmonte since 2000.
