When it comes to the Invitational Division playoffs, the people mainly interested in the outcome are the participating coaches and players, and the parents who watch.

Still, someone has to win. And it’s even more challenging to find that sleeper team that could surprise everyone.

I thought Hollywood could be that team. (I confess: I’m guessing). But the Sheiks, seeded 10th, have a nice 13-5 record, were the Southern League champions and were hosting No. 21 Franklin, a 9-10 team.

If not a perfect storm, but it’s a pretty good one.

Until you see the halftime score ... Franklin leads 40-14.
