A look at the Southern Section Division II-AA girls’ basketball playoffs.

Who will win it all: No. 1 Miller over No. 2 Edison

I have a gut feeling about:No. 3 Santa Monica

Analysis: That victory a few weeks ago over Ayala keeps tapping the back of my brain, and it makes me think ‘Santa Monica, Santa Monica, Santa Monica.’ Edison’s got some nice victories this season, and that glaring loss to Marina; however, that loss got the Chargers back in step. Still, Miller plays the full four quarters, is the defending champion, and has four returning starters, including Chloe Wells, who has emerged as one of the Southland’s great clutch performers. You’d be nuts to pick against them. I’m occasionally stupid, but I’m not nuts.
