It’s final: City semifinals at Galen Center on Friday

Congratulations to the City Section for pulling off a real coup -- getting Friday night’s City Section Championship Division semifinals in boys’ basketball as a doubleheader at USC’s Galen Center.
It will cost just $10 for adults and $6 for students to see both games, possibly bringing together three of the top teams in the state if Taft, Fairfax and Westchester get past their quarterfinal opponents tonight.
The 8 p.m. game would match Taft or Dorsey against the winner of Fremont-Cleveland. The 6 o’clock game will have the Fairfax-Washington victor against the Westchester-Crenshaw winner.
