Now that we have almost a work week of calm before the state championships begin on Friday, why don’t we try to tackle one of the biggest questions of the high school basketball season?

Be sure to explain the reasoning behind your choice on the comment board. Who knows? Maybe you’ll persuade us that the guy you picked is the best player in the Southland.

As for me, I think McDonald’s All American Jrue Holiday is the best player in these parts.
