Spring baseball tournaments get under way early today

I’m surprised El Camino Real remembered to wake up for Saturday’s baseball game against visiting North Torrance.

The Conquistadores had a late night against Sun Valley Poly, in a game played at Birmingham.

But the Redondo tournament had the game scheduled for 11 a.m., at ECR, so it was a good idea for the Conquistadores to show up.

Besides, El Camino Real, at 5-2, is playing good baseball right now. The kind of groove where you’ll play anywhere at anytime.
