Oxnard AD selected for award

Oxnard Union High School District Athletic Director Tony Diaz has been named as the recipient of the 2008 National Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association State Award of Merit. He will accept the award during the state conference for athletic administrators in San Jose on April 12.

Diaz, who was selected as the California State Athletic Director of the Year in 2004, has worked as an administrator at Oxnard for nine years and has been the president of the Pacific View League since 1998.
