Reggie Wyatt, runner-up in the state 300-meter intermediate hurdles last season for Riverside North, has lost his appeal to the Southern Section to gain varsity eligibility this season after transferring to Riverside La Sierra.

The decision was made on March 19. Unless Wyatt can win an appeal at the state level, he won’t be allowed to compete in varsity track this season. Wyatt, a sophomore last year, finished second to Taft’s Jeshua Anderson in Sacramento.
