Here at The Times, we’re having difficulty trying to figure out who’s going to be celebrating at Dodger Stadium later this spring when the 2008 City Section champion is crowned.

Defending champion Chatsworth looks strong, but it’s no longer the almost-invincible team it once was. And West Valley League cohorts Cleveland and Taft also have to be considered in the running after splitting games last week.

If Kennedy gets past San Fernando this afternoon, it’s looking good for at least a league title. Banning and Narbonne are tied for first place heading into today’s Marine League showdown and it looks as if no one’s going to stop Roosevelt from taking the Eastern League championship.
