Swimming: El Toro boys charging into Foothill Swim Games finals

The 36th Foothill Swim Games finals begin at 10 a.m. today/Saturday, and things will probably go just swimmingly for one of the county’s outstanding boys’ programs, El Toro, which qualified No. 1 in three relay events during Friday prelims.

According to Dan Albano’s account, the Chargers did it without three major contributors: Griffin White, Ryan Johnson and Ryan Russell.

The girls’ prelims were held on Thursday.
