Football: Two Orange Lutheran transfers ruled ineligible

Brothers Connor and Michael Loftus, kickers who transferred from Anaheim Servite to Orange Lutheran, have been ruled ineligible by the Southern Section because of pre-enrollment communication.

Connor, a freshman, and Michael, a junior, can appeal the decision but must prove they were not recruited. Each would have to sit out one season of varsity play if the section’s ruling is not overturned.
