Taylor Martinez, a junior quarterback who transferred to Corona Centennial from Cajon, has lost his appeal to gain eligibility via a hardship waiver, according to the Riverside Press-Enterprise.

He would have been the leading candidate to replace Arizona-bound Matt Scott at quarterback.
