Baseball: Hart leads Westlake, 3-1, heading into fifth

Thanks to a two-run fourth inning, third-seeded Hart leads, 3-1, heading into the fifth inning of its Southern Section-Toyota Division I first-round game against Westlake. A run-scoring double by Jenzen Torres ended a 1-1 tie and Trevor Brown scored from third on a passed ball.

It was enough to chase starter Graham Johnson, who lasted only three innings. Reliever Alex Gillingham walked the first two Hart batters to load the bases but got out of the inning after second baseman Derek Ring turned a double play.
