Baseball: Anaheim Canyon still hanging on vs. top-seeded Los Alamitos

Heading into the bottom of the fifth, Anaheim Canyon still leads top-seeded Los Alamitos, 4-1, in a Southern Section-Toyota Division I first-round game at Canyon.

Canyon left-hander Gabe Garcia, who threw a complete game in the first-round victory Friday against Royal, is still inching along, even though he has walked seven batters through five innings.

Never overlook the Comanches in the postseason. They reached the Division I championship game last season as a wild-card team.
