A home run in the second inning by Carlos Escobar Jr. has given Chatsworth a 2-0 lead over Kennedy in the top of the third inning of the City Section Championship Division semifinal game at Chatsworth.

James Wharton has struck out three in two innings for top-seeded Chatsworth.
